This might be the most random, senseless update I've ever written... be forewarned! lol I also didn't proof it so... have fun =P
I spent the whole day following Laurie around, from mall to mall, store to store, fitting room to fitting room.
I was use to playing hockey games, bursting around the ice as fast as I could; throwing myself against grown men and pushing myself to the limit. That was nothing. That was easy.
Shopping with a woman… that was the true workout.
I groaned as Laurie appeared, dropping another shopping bag on me as I curled up on the mall’s bench. “Are you done yet?” I asked as I tucked myself tighter into the fetal position.
“Almost. God, you’re such a baby!” She laughed, turning around and walking away from me.
“Wife?” A man asked, flopping down on the bench that was leaning against the back of mine.
“No… no…” I laughed, finally sitting up and planting my feet on the floor amidst the pile of bags. “Just a friend.”
“Must be some friend if she’s got you waiting on a bench for her…” He grinned, shaking his head as he turned back around. “Married thirty years this august…” He explained after a minute, nodding towards a woman in the store in front of him. “Only reason she’s got me sitting her.”
“Guess that’s a reason.” I chuckled, turning back around in search of Laurie. “My friend’s a pretty special girl though… puts up with a lot.” I explained, stifling a yawn as we continued to chat back and forth.
I had gone over just about everything I could think of - pertaining to women - with my new pal Wyatt, by the time Laurie got back.
I said goodbye to him, scooping the bags up as I followed Laurie out of the mall. “Have a good night you too.” He called to me before we rounded the corner.
“What was that about?” She asked, walking a step in front of me.
I shrugged, grinning to myself. “Just an old guy waiting for his wife… we were talking about you guys…”
“About me and his wife?”
“Yah… and how some how we end up sitting on benches, waiting for you guys… now if that’s not love… I don’t know what is!” I laughed, almost bumping into her as she stopped walking.
“What did you just say?”
“What-?”
“What was love?” She asked, sounding slightly out of breath.
I crinkled my brow, confused. “I just said… that poor guy sitting out there waiting on a bench for thirty years… you don’t do that unless you’re in love.” I said slowly, replaying the last few minutes in my head.
“Oh…” She said quietly, turning around and continuing on her way. I followed after her, the bag handles leaving angry red lines in my arms as I trailed behind.
I came up the apartment stairs slowly, wondering what could possibly be making such a loud racket; it sounded like a pack of wild cats were fighting to the death.
“Laurie?” I asked timidly as I came up the last step and saw her standing in the middle of the hallway; hands on her hips.
She snapped her head towards me, her eyes bright with fury. “Get in my apartment. Now!”
I nodded, not bothering to argue with her, even when Alyssa appeared in the doorway of my apartment; glowering at me.
They exchanged a few more, indistinguishable - but heated - words as I closed Laurie’s door behind me.
I sat on the couch, perched as I imagined all the bad shit that was probably going down on the other side of the wall.
A man would go out there and face the music, admit that he was wrong and take the punishment. But I never said I was a man, and I wasn’t about to get yelled at when I had the option of safety.
Besides, Laurie was a tough cookie, she’d be fine…
Laurie threw the door open a few minutes later, looking flushed as she kicked it shut behind her. “Un-fucking-believable!” She spat, stomping over towards me and flopping down beside me on the couch.
“Umm… sorry?” I asked slowly, resting back beside her, unsure of what to do.
She shook her head, holding the bridge of her nose between her thumb and forefinger. “Just give me a minute.” She said quietly, before taking a few deep breaths.
“That slut. That complete, crazy, psychotic, stalker, slut.” She mumbled, dropping her hand and looking up at me.
Crazy. Psychotic. Slut. There was nothing strange there; throw in bitch, cunt and whore, and you basically have the most commonly used words, when it came to a girl talking trash another girl.
Except stalker, that didn’t fit right. “Stalker?” I asked slowly, wondering what she was talking about.
“She planned the whole thing Pat, she knew everything. She knew we were sleeping together… she doesn’t give a shit. She’s crazy, she just wanted you. She moved her, because she wanted you.”
“What are you talking about-” I started to ask, but Laurie cut me off, sitting up and grabbing my face in her hands.
“She came to Chicago because she’s delusional, Pat. She hung out in that bar, hoping that you’d show up so that she could meet you. That’s why she moved in so fast, that’s why she was so accepting of everything. The girl is completely bat-shit crazy.” She finished matter-o-factly, gazing at me intently.
“But… I… I… what?” I sputtered unable to form a coherent thought as he words rumbled around my head. “How do you know all this?” I managed to choke out.
She sighed audibly, dropping her hold on my face and leaning back. “I was walking by your door and I heard her talking to someone, on the phone. What she said isn’t that important but… I had to say something.
I always had a bad feeling about her and just hearing her say sketchy things pushed me over the edge.
I threw the door open, cornered her, and she spilled. Not spilled as in ‘I’m really scared I should talk now…’ but like, ‘I’m crazy and don’t realize it’.” She shook her head, staring off into space; reliving the experience in her mind. “She kept telling me that I was just a random fuck, that you guys were ’meant’ to be together… soul-mates, eternal lovers… and all this weird shit…”
I exhaled loudly and flopped back down, leaning my head against the back of the couch and trying to figure things out. “She had pictures of me all over the walls of her room…” I said slowly, remembering the other day when I had been at her house for the first time.
I tried - fruitlessly - to remember something else. Something else that would give me the answers I needed. I didn’t doubt Laurie. She had no reason to lie to me, no reason to make something up; plus I trusted her more than anyone. Even more than Tazer, or Burish, or Sharpie.
I believed her, I believed that was she was telling me was real, what I couldn’t begin to fathom was how I hadn’t seen it.
I stood in front of the apartment building, Laurie’s hand clutched tightly in my own. With my other hand I held up the ice-pack that had been given to me by the paramedic.
I adverted my eyes away from the sight before me, glancing down at my shoes as I heard Alyssa repeatedly call my name. “Patrick… Patrick baby… don’t do this. I’m sorry baby! I’m sorry, I can make it better… just don’t do this… you’re gonna regret it baby…” She let out a frustrated scream as the police officer pushed her into the back of the patrol car. Slamming the door shut and muffling her cry.
I exhaled loudly, tilting my head to the side as the car drove away.
Laurie and I stood silent for a long time, watching the hustle and bustle die down around us. “You ok?” She asked slowly, not letting go of my hand as she moved to stand in front of me.
She pulled on my free hand until I allowed her to remove it from my face. I watched her reaction carefully as she bit her lip. “Well, at least you look like a real hockey player now…” She sighed, gently tracing her finger along the swollen, bloody half of my face.
I cringed slightly as she stroked the tender skin; mildly impressed with how much damage a tiny girl could do with anger and a barbeque prong.
I hadn’t expected that at all.
When I went back to my apartment to try and figure things out; Alyssa jumped on me like a banshee out of hell.
I wasn’t even aware that Laurie had called the police until officers were forcefully removing Alyssa off of me.
I liked to think I was taking the gentleman approach - not fighting back - but part of my subconscious was wondering if she still would have been able to kick my ass. “Patrick… are you sure you don’t want me to take you to the hospital?”
“No… EMT said I’d be fine here… besides, I don’t want any more attention on this then there will be. First the cab thing… then getting beaten up by a girl…” I sighed, shaking my head. “Do I have a sign above my head or something?”
“Just a small one…” Laurie giggled, grabbing onto my arm and pulling me into the apartment behind her. “How about I make pizza?”
I nodded mutely as I allowed Laurie to drag me up the stairs. Following her down the hall, without a backwards glance at my door.

#9
It was the weirdest feeling in the world; sneaking past my own door. Surprisingly enough I didn’t feel bad about it either.
I hobbled down the hallway as quiet as I could, practically tiptoeing to Laurie’s apartment.
I knocked six times, as softly as I could, before I heard her move behind the door. She pulled the door open halfway; leaning on it and letting out a chuckle. “Shhh! Laurie!” I hissed, pushing her back into her apartment and swiftly closing the door behind me; locking the chain and deadbolt.
“Jesus Pat! She’s not the devil…” He turned around and glared at her.
“Not funny.” I sighed as I gently set my bag down on the floor.
I shimmied out of my coat and threw in on one of the kitchen chairs as I jumped down on the couch. “So Pat…” Laurie “Not a good time at home?”
“Ugh…” I let out a sigh and tilted my head back. “They didn’t like Alyssa… like… at all.”
She started laughing, “And you expected them to?” She asked with scepticism in her voice.
“Not really.” I groaned, letting out my own chuckle as she started to laugh harder.
“Alright well then, if you didn’t really expect them to like her, why you so upset about it?”
“I’m not upset… just… disappointed I guess.” I tried to explain as Laurie flopped down beside me on the couch; handing me a beer.
“Cause you’re so in love?” The voice was full of sarcasm as she spoke; something I wasn’t use to from her.
“I never said that-”
“Then I don’t understand why you’re so upset.” She spat.
“What the hell Laurie? What’s wrong? I just said I wasn’t upset… why are you so pissed off?” She glared at me for a second before turning away and shrugging.
She grabbed the flicker and turned the TV on; we watched two full episodes of Family Guy before we said anything else. “I’m gonna call it a night I think; I’ll just sleep out here.” I said, pointing at the couch.
“No, you can take my bed; I’m gonna stay up a bit longer.” I nodded, figuring it was best to not argue with her; whatever her problem was tonight.
I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow; the bed was inviting - not only was it soft, but it smelt like Laurie‘s awesome perfume.
“Pat…” I awoke to someone shaking me. Remembering where I was, I rolled over to see Laurie lying beside me. There was just enough light filtering through her window to see what she was wearing; and it wasn’t a lot.
I felt a grin spread over my face as I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her against me.
I pressed my lips against hers, hard; feeling her return the kiss with the same amount of enthusiasm.
She let out a soft moan as I rolled over on top of her; pushing my way in between her legs and pressing myself against her clit. “Pat…” She sighed again as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
I pulled out of her embraced and sat up on my knees; grabbing her tiny, lacy panties in my hands and shredding them off. She let out a squeal as I tossed the pieces aside and forced her legs open again - lowering my mouth down on top of her.
I pressed my tongue as far inside of her as I could; grasping onto her thighs harder in response to the moans that began to flow out of her. Laurie started trying to shove me away as I felt her nearing her climax.
I let her succeed to a point; pushing my mouth away. I grabbed her wrists and pushed them up above her head, pressing down on her with my body as I pushed inside of her.
I continued to thrust into her; even after the first climax sent a burst of warm liquid pouring out of her, onto the mattress.
She wrapped her arms and legs around me, pulling me in tighter as she began to dig her nails into my back.
I let out a grunt as I felt her break skin, the same time as I finished.
I flopped down with my head on her chest; unable to move. “Pat… baby… you have to get off me, I need to change the sheets…” She sighed from underneath me. I shook my head. “Pat! Come on…” She said with more vigour, trying to shake me off. Again I shook my head, letting out an ample yawn, to prove the fact that I wasn’t moving.
She sighed and started to laugh; I hugged onto her tighter as I fell asleep.
“Ugh! Come on Pat! It’s almost noon… can we please got up now!?” Laurie was exasperated, that only made me hold on tighter; enjoying my new game.
“Nope.” I said simply, popping the ’p’ as I said it. She’d been trying to get out of bed since nine but she couldn’t; not with my weight still on her.
“Oh my god… you’re impossible, you know that?”
I tilted my head until I could see her face clearly; giving her a smug smile once I was sure I had her attention. “So…” I said with a yawn. “What are we doing today?”
She gave me a strange look, “what are you talking about?”
“Well, we aren’t just gonna sit here all day are we? What do you want to do?” I asked again, finally rolling over and allowing her to move.
“I- I don’t know. We don’t really ever do anything…” She said slowly, staring at the ceiling.
“Well then… looks like we can start today!” I said as I sat up, messing up her hair before I rolled over her to get out of the bed.
I grabbed a towel out of the cupboard and looked back at her; still lying on the bed with a grin plastered on her face.
I couldn’t tell if it was because of the sex last night or the fact that we were actually going out to do something besides sex. I shrugged my shoulders at the thought as I turned around and headed into the bathroom.
I hobbled down the hallway as quiet as I could, practically tiptoeing to Laurie’s apartment.

#8
When the alarm woke me up at 6am; I was alone in bed. I could hear the shower running softly in the bathroom, through the paper-thin walls of my bedroom. I sighed and decided I might as get up and carry some of the luggage out to the car; we did have an 8 hour drive ahead of us.
I was loaded down with bags as I descended the stairs, trying to make myself fit in between the railing.
I was on the final flight of stairs when I bumped into someone. “Shit! Sorry, I can’t see…” I sighed, trying to peer around the bag that was blocking my view.
“No worries, not the first time you’ve almost knocked me down the stairs.” Laurie’s playful remark sounded back at me. I laughed out loud as I gave her another shove as I continued my way outside.
After safely securing the luggage in the SUV, and making my way back into my apartment, I found Laurie stretch out on my bed; fighting with Giggs. “I think he’s winning.” I chuckled from the doorway, honestly glad to see her again.
“Only cause I let him! Don’t I baby boy…” She coddle as she pulled him into a bear hug and pinned him down. “Well, we better get going… what are you doing up so early anyway?” She asked before walking out towards the door.
“Going to visit mom and dad… I have a game tomorrow so I’m staying there over night and then flying down to Tampa to meet up with the team.”
“Oh, nothing wrong with that.” She paused at the doorway, leaning mischievously on the doorframe. She glanced past me, around the room. “What the hell’s with all the junk in here?”
“Oh, um…” I followed her stare, taking in all the new crap I had acquired from Alyssa. “Well, do you remember that girl from the bar?”
“Who? The psycho redhead?” She laughed, until she saw my face. “Oh… oh god! What did I miss?”
“Well, I went back out the next night and ah… I guess we’re like… together now… or something.” It felt even more foolish to be explaining this to Laurie.
“And she moved in already?” She let out a low whistle and gave me a sad smile. “Sucks for you man… have fun with that.” She headed out the door and down the hall towards her place. “Hey Pat!” I followed her voice out into the hall. “If you ever need to get away from her… you can always come here.” I flashed her a thank you and headed back into the apartment in time to see Alyssa coming out of the shower.
A little after 4pm we were pulling into my driveway. Jacqueline, my youngest sister at 15, was waving frantically out the window as we exited the SUV. I walked around to the back of the vehicle and pulled out the luggage; Alyssa came back to help. Her movements were jerky and shaky, I could tell she was nervous. “You gonna be ok?” I asked as I removed the last of the luggage from the back.
“I don’t know…” She said softly, taking a timid step towards me. I couldn’t help but laugh; now she knew how I felt yesterday.
I grabbed her hand and together we carried the bags to the front door. “Umm… I should probably warn you about Erica… the oldest… she doesn’t really like anyone.” I could hear her audible gulp and I squeezed her hand in mine. “On the plus side, Jessica couldn’t care less about who I take home, and Jackie loves everyone so… best two out of three right?”
As predicted, Erica hated her; and was fairly verbal about this. I had never taken a girl home before, in a relationship capacity anyway; but having girls over to the house before I had seen Erica’s mean side. Also as predicted Jessica didn’t really give a shit and Jackie followed us around the whole time. Mom and dad were divided. Mom openly sided with Erica, while my dad sat on the fence between Jessie and Jackie - kind of liking her and not giving a shit either way.
Dinner was nothing special. Erica, Jackie, Alyssa and I ate in the living room, while mom and dad ate in the kitchen and Jessie left to hang out with some friends. This wasn’t a good sign; if my parents liked her they’d be in here with us… at least that’s what they did with any of the guys Erica took home.
Once that ordeal was over I took Alyssa to the basement, to show her where I spent most of my childhood. I kicked a soccer ball around with Jackie, while I listened to Erica grilling Alyssa.
“So… what do you do for a living?” She chided, arms crossed over her chest.
“Nothing right now. I don’t work, I go to school…” Alyssa answered uncomfortably, not taking her eyes off our game.
“So, who pays for everything then?”
“My parents.”
“Oh… I see. So, is my brother the first hockey player you’ve dated?” The belittling tone in Erica’s voice was disgusting.
“Yah… he’s actually the first real boyfriend I’ve had.”
“Mmmm normally they don’t call you back after the first night?”
“Erica! Fuck’s your problem?” I called, walking away from Jackie and our game.
“Nothing… I’m just trying to figure out what her deal is.” She rounded on me, eyes gleaming.
I walked over to Alyssa and grabbed her hand, pulling her protectively behind me. “Her deal? I don’t know… maybe she just likes me, every think of that?”
“Yah well, you keep telling yourself that… I know a- … well let’s just say I know what type of girl she is. Everyone else can see it a mile away, everyone except you Pat.” She turned on her heel and headed up the stairs, not looking back. After a few awkward, silent minutes Jackie followed her up the stairs, pausing before she reached the door.
“Alyssa?”
Alyssa’s voice quivered the slightest bit. “Yah Jackie?”
“Please don‘t hurt my brother.” She replied simply before closing the door behind her.
I let out of groan once I was sure we were alone. “I’m so sorry about that… like I said, she hates everyone so… don’t think anything of it.” When she didn’t respond right away I turned around.
Her face was a delicate pink colour, and her eyes were brimming with tears as she stared up the stairs after my sisters. “Oh, Alyssa…” I sighed and wrapped my arms around her waist, determined to show her that Erica’s words didn’t effect me.
She started sobbing quietly into my shoulder and it was all I could do to not chasing Erica up the stairs and make her apologise. The last thing I needed was for Erica to know that her attempt at upsetting Alyssa had worked.
I scooped her face up in my hands and lifted her lips up gently to mine. I started walking her backwards until she bumped into the dryer; oh, the good ol’ dryer. I grabbed the back of her legs in my hands and lifted her up on top of it, pulling her forward enough that she was teetering on the edge.
Moving up until I was trapped in between her legs, I ran my hand up her inner thigh and into her skirt. “Patrick, no…” she whined, pushing me back a step.
“It’s fine babe, they won’t come down.” I assured her as I pulled her legs open again. She tried to protest but her words were cut off as I pushed my fingers inside of her, causing her to reach for my shoulders; digging into them with the nails on both hands.
As sure as I was that no one was going to interrupt us, I still opted to pull myself out of my jeans as opposed to pulling them off; still having to stretch up in order to enter her; just like in the old days, I thought with a sigh.
We were curled up under my comforter early that night; I could tell that Alyssa had no desire to spend anymore time with my family, just like they didn’t seem to want to spend anymore time with her.
She fell asleep before I did, and I took the time to replay the events of the day over in my head. I had honestly expected the day to go rocky, but not like this; I certainly wasn’t expecting my sister to make my girlfriend cry… and what about that comment?
I was pretty sure I knew what Erica was going to say; Alyssa was a gold-digger, but that was just foolish. Sure, maybe after the first night I had thought that but, after seeing her house and meeting her parents I knew it wasn’t true; she had more money than I did.
I needed to let it go. It was just Erica yapping away; like she always did. If there wasn’t drama being created than it wasn’t a successful day for her… still, this was a bit much.
Why couldn’t see just be happy for me, instead of being a bitch about it? She was being ridiculous, and her accusation was completely uncalled for… right? Maybe?
Crap, now I don’t know. It’s not like I can really take a step back and think about this all though… not with my parents in this house and Alyssa living in my other one…
I wasted no time leaving the house that morning, wanting to be gone as soon as possible, and assuming Alyssa would be feeling the same way. Instead of waiting around for my dad to drive me, I opted to have Alyssa drive me to the airport instead.
Waiting at the terminal gate, all I could think about was how badly I need to take myself out of this situation. I was only going to be in Tampa until tomorrow afternoon, after which I was going to have to go back to my apartment and get ready for another game. I couldn’t go to my house… my parents and sisters were there, and that wasn’t going to help me think about this. It was the same thing at my apartment though; I was going to have to talk about last night with Alyssa, a lot I was sure. Unless…
“Hey Laurie, what’s up?” I asked, after dialling her number into my cell phone.
“Oh hey Pat! Not a whole lot actually, just watching a movie with my friend Emma… How did last night go?”
“Ugh, don’t ask! That’s actually why I’m calling though… I think I might need a day just to get away from everyone else, you know? I was wondering if you’re offer’s still open?”
“Sure… of course it is… think you can sneak in past crazy though?”
“I’m sure gonna try…” I laughed slowly; shit, I hadn’t thought about that.
“Alright well, see you tomorrow.”
Good old Laurie, is there anything I can’t count on that girl for?
I was loaded down with bags as I descended the stairs, trying to make myself fit in between the railing.
I was on the final flight of stairs when I bumped into someone. “Shit! Sorry, I can’t see…” I sighed, trying to peer around the bag that was blocking my view.

#7
Alyssa and I had come home early after the game. Although she informed me I was going to meet her parents today, she had left out where they lived. After the game she decided to let me know I would be driving around Maryland Heights... about 5 hours away.
It was almost 10am and we were planning on leaving in a couple hours, to be there before supper.
Alyssa was heading back to her apartment to grab any left other things; she was subletting for the remainder of her lease, and the people were moving in on Wednesday. The phone rang as she was putting her hand on the doorknob to leave. She turned and answered it.
"Hello? Who are you looking for? Oh no, this is the right number. I live here... yes. I'm his girlfriend. Sure, here he is." She handed me the phone and gave me a peek on the cheek before continuing out the door with my car keys.
"Hello?" I asked as I watched her leave, hmmm never noticed how nice her ass was before...
"Anything you'd like to tell me?" My dad's voice strained over the line.
"Uhh... I have a girlfriend and she lives with me...?" It came out more as a question than a statement.
"Were you planning on tell us this anytime soon?" He asked, I could hear my mom in the background now.
"Ugh! Yes alright, just tell mom to stay calm. I met this girl Alyssa, we started dating and she moved in. Not a big deal!"
"How long have you been dating her?!" My mom was on the line too now.
"Ummm... like, 2 days..."
"What?! How long have you known her for?"
"Like... 3 days..." This was sounding worse and worse.
"What's her name Patrick?" My dad asked through my mom's rantings.
"Alyssa... umm... Alyssa something..." Shit I didn't even know that.
"Well tell us something about her? What does she do? Where's she from?"
"Uh... she's hot...?" I stopped talking. Judging by the lack of response they needed more than that, "and... her parents live in Maryland Heights. We're going there tonight for supper."
"Well you can just come here tomorrow night for supper than!" My mom finished, leaving no room for debate.
I tried anyway, "Mom! That's like 8, 9 hours away! I have to drive 10 hours tonight!"
"Well then it's lucky you like driving so much isn't it?"
"I don't like dri-"
"No excuses Patrick! A girl, living with you... you hardly know her! Please tell me you're not sleeping with her?!"
The phone was silent and I heard my dad chuckle, mom mom started yelling again. "I said tell me you're not sleeping with her!"
"Umm... well mom..." I began, not sure how to continue.
"Is this how you met her?"
"Yes."
"At a bar?"
"Yes."
"And you took her home and slept with her... and she never left?!"
"Ah... pretty much yah."
My dad was laughing hysterically at this point, my mom was flipping out.
"That was some sex!" My dad said through his chuckles.
Mom reprimanded him, "This is so not funny!"
"Ah... I gotta get ready to though so... I guess I'll see you tomorrow..." My dad said goodbye back, and I hung up on my mom who was still yell ling; more so at my dad than me now though.
I showered and dressed in a light blue, button-down shirt and a pair of tan dress pants; before taking a seat on the edge of the bed and waiting for Alyssa to get home.
I was a wreck. I had never done the girlfriend thing before, especially never the 'meet-the-parents' thing. It also wasn't helping my nerves to know that her parents would probably ask the same questions as mine; and her being their daughter... I was probably in for a long night.
I really wanted to make a good impression, I wasn't sure why. I couldn't decide if it was for my own ego, my confidence or because I was starting to like Alyssa; that I needed her parents to like me.
I was pacing in the living when Alyssa came back in. "Nervous?" She giggled as she reached out and pulled me into a hug. "Don't be, they'll love you." She grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze as I followed her out the door and out to my SUV.
It was official, her parents loved me. As soon as we arrived her mother pulled me into a hug and started jabbering away to me. Her father shook my hand and welcomed me into their home.
Her parents were not at all what I had expected, but then again, I hadn't spent alot of time wondering what they'd be like. Her father was older, much older; early sixties maybe. Her mother - who turned out to be a step-mother - looked to be about 30. Their house was huge.
Dinner was easy, and I enjoyed myself. Her father, Doug, was a huge sports fan and her step-mother, Carol, could talk about anything to anyone.
After supper Alyssa and her step-mom did the dishes, leaving me some time to explore Doug's office with him. He had the most amazing collect of hockey memorabilia I had ever seen.
There was autographed jersey and pictures, photos of him with everyone who ever mattered to the game.
After spending a few minutes walking around the room, I was behind Doug's desk; looking at the framed pictures there.
Unlike the photos on the walls, these were not of famous hockey players or moments. They were of Alyssa; growing up.
There was one of her on a pony, one of her jumping horses. Pictures of her at prom, and childhood ones; of her with a pretty red-headed women that I assumed was her late mother.
"Something else, isn't she?" Doug said startling me.
"Oh... yah... is that her mom?" I asked, pointing to a picture of Alyssa as a toddler; her arms wrapped around the woman's neck.
"Yes, Anna. She passed away from Breast Cancer when Alyssa was 7."
"I'm sorry." I wasn't sure what else to say. We stood in silence for a while, looking at the pictures.
"So... you're stealing my baby girl away." He sighed after a bit.
"Uh... I don't want to do that... that's not-"
He laughed and slapped me in the arm, "I'm just kidding. It's hard though, you're the only boy she's ever brought home so... I'm assuming it's serious. She said she was living with you too. Are you in love with her?"
His question caught me off guard and I wasn't sure what to say. "Well... I care about her, and I know I can look after her... it's too soon for me to honestly answer that... sorry..."
"Nonsense!" He slapped me again. "I respect your honesty, of course it's too soon... but, now I know I can trust you."
Alyssa gave me a tour of her house; it was very modern and extravagant, the type of home I would want to own. She lead me upstairs and showed me the view from her parent's balcony. There was a large pool in the back yard, and the yard was landscaped perfectly. She told me stories about the times her friends and her would jump off the balcony into the water. It was a high jump; I was fairly impressed.
We passed a door that said 'Alyssa' on it, and I stopped, expecting to go in.
"Ahh... oh no! Please, let's not do this?" She whined, tugging on my arm as I pushed the door open.
I couldn't help but burst out laughing. There was a large poster of me in my Team USA jersey, plastered over her four-post bed. "Always been a Kaner fan then?" I said through the tears that were streaming down my face.
"Ugh! I'm never gonna live this down am I?" She moved to pull the poster down, but I followed, grabbing her wrists before she could reach it. I wrestled her down onto her bed, sealing my win with a long kiss.
Soon enough things were getting heated and I pulled back. "Save it till we get home?" I asked, my voice was husky and I tried not to remind myself that we had a 5 hour drive back.
She pouted and pulled me back down. "Too long..."
"Your parents..." I said between kisses.
"Are on the other side of the house." She finished. That didn't seem that reassuring so I tried pulling away again.
"But they like me and I'd like to keep it that way."
She smiled up at me, allowing me to move back. "Why does it matter so much?"
"I don't know... it doesn't really." I shrugged, trying to sort out my thoughts. "I guess, I just like you... so I want them to like me too..." I felt like an idiot but she seemed happy enough. She reaffirmed her grip on the back of my head and pulled me down once more.
This time she didn't take no for answer and I forced her off the bed and onto the floor; terrified of being over-heard.
The drive back home was silent; Alyssa fell asleep, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
For some reason meeting her parents, seeing the room she grew up in, and the pictures of her as a child had changed my view on her alot. She wasn't just some chick at a bar. She was someone's daughter.
When I pulled into my parking spot I looked over, she was still asleep. I got out of the SUV and walked around to her door; lifting her out and kicking the door shut behind me.
I carried her into my apartment and laid her down on the bed; the clock said 1:48am. I sighed and started to undress, crawling into bed beside her. I shifted her small frame until she was curled in tightly next to me.
Today had been a very strange day; things had turned out alot differently than I had imagined. I drifted off to sleep thinking about what would happen tomorrow; finding myself hoping my parents were going to approve.
It was almost 10am and we were planning on leaving in a couple hours, to be there before supper.

*** Ugh! Blogger still hates me =( I can't use italics at home apparently so... you'll have to guess when Kaner is talking in his head lol. Hopefully it's not too hard to follow! ***
“Don’t mock me Sharpe! This is serious!” I whispered angrily into the phone as I hid in the bathroom.
“Man, clam down, it’s not that big of deal… shit happens.” He replied back, unable to keep the smile out of his voice. “And hey, the boys think it’s great.”
“Ugh! You told them… why would you tell them?” I put my face in my hands and moaned, just friggin brilliant.
“Well she’s you’re almost-girlfriend; the first one you’ve had like… ever, so I figured we could celebrate.”
“Celebrate?! Sharpe I’ve known her for two days…” I looked around the bathroom at all the chick stuff on the counters, “two days… and her shit is EVERYWHERE!”
“Meh, what can you do… at least she’s hot. When are you gonna make it official?”
“Huh? What do you mean official? She’s basically moved in!”
“Yah but, you have to make it official or they get cranky… trust me I know.” I sighed and shook my head, never again was I going out to a bar…
I pushed myself off the ledge of the tub to pace around the bathroom. After spending several minutes debating internally on what to do, I came to one conclusion. “This is your fault!” I jabbed.
“Woah, what? How do you figure that one?” Sharpe said defensively, taking on a serious tone for the first time in the conversation.
“If you didn’t bring that other girl over none of this would have happened… you owe me!” It makes sense to me… that’s all that really matters.
“I didn’t make you bang her man, that was all you… and if I may, judging by the sounds I heard; you’re welcome.”
“Fuck!”
“Holy intense batman… just chill out. You’re gonna give yourself a brain aneurism or something.” I took a deep breath and sat back down. I knew Alyssa was probably wondering where I was, but at this particular moment, I was too much of a coward to leave the safety of my porcelain domain. “Look, just ask her… it won’t be too bad. Trust me man, they’ll be no getting rid of this one now… not if she has shit there. That’s how they operate; puck bunnies are like herpies… they never really leave.”
I got up and crossed the bathroom pulling the door open. “Hey…Alyssa!”
“Wait… what are you-”
“Yah?” Alyssa cut Sharpe off as she came around the corner.
“Do you ah… wanna be my girlfriend?” God I’m a fag.
She gave me a huge grin. “Yes!”
Now what? “Ah. Ok. Cool.” I closed the bathroom door in her face and sat back down on the side of the tub.
“What the hell did you just do?” Sharpe yelled at me.
“I asked her out like you said to!”
“And where is she now?”
“I don’t know… I closed the door…”
A deep exhale came over the line. “You’re an idiot. I’ll get the boys together… meet me for lunch at 1... usual; take the future Mrs. Kaner with ya.”
“Ugh!” Was my last response before he hung up on me.
Over the course of two hours, Alyssa had completely lost her mind. After getting off the phone with Sharpe I had taken a long shower; by the time I got out Alyssa already had friends over helping her unpack.
She had apparently also called everyone she knew and informed them of our ‘official’ relationship; and wasted no time in telling me I was going to dinner with her parents on Monday.
Alyssa’s friends; Monica, Robin and Emily, bounced excitedly in the back of my Hummer as we drove to the restaurant to meet the team; apparently her friends were now part of the package. I hadn’t planned on taking them with us, but Alyssa had insisted and from the amount of cleavage bouncing along with them, I was sure the guys wouldn‘t mind.
Alyssa yapped happily beside me about… ahh something… I looked over at her and then looked back at the road, she took no notice of the fact I wasn’t listening.
Sharpe, Burish, Tazer, Samantha, Soupy and a few of the other boys were already there when we arrived.
Samantha gave me a warm smile and waved as she saw me approach. The rest of the table began to chuckle at the red-head with the death grip on me.
“Hey guys, this is Alyssa… and her friends. These are my team-mates…” I sat down giving Sharpe a shrug, which he retorted with a laugh.
Lunch was uneventful. Alyssa sat beside me, fawning the whole time; as annoying as it was at first, it was nice to have someone there for me. Her friends seemed to enjoy themselves too; and judging by the nods the boys were giving me, they were satisfied that I had taken them along.
We had a game at 7, so we didn’t stay too long; heading to our respective homes for pre-game ’naps’. However, Alyssa’s friends opted to leave with some of my team-mates instead of with us; so I wasn’t sure how much napping would actually happen.
When I opened my apartment door, the first thing I noticed was the mounds of new crap I had acquired. I had to laugh at her eagerness to move in, it was kind of flattering.
Obviously in a normal relationship it didn’t work like this. Alyssa was already head-over-heels and it wasn’t because I was a great lay; even though I was. I wasn’t naive. I was a hockey player, a fairly wealthy one at that, and she wanted a piece of it. The worse part was that I couldn’t even make myself care. She was pretty, fairly charming, and I knew she’d do everything to make this work. Not like I had anything else on the go, I decided as I headed into the bedroom for my nap.
I was stretched out on the bed, trying to fall asleep when I heard the bedroom door open. I looked up and saw Alyssa in the doorway; an apologetic look on her face.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
“It’s okay, I wasn’t asleep yet…”
“Good.” She breathed an audible sigh of relief and stared at me for a minute. “Would it be alright if I lied with you?” She asked, self-consciously wrapping her arms around herself. I smiled and nodded, rolling over to accommodate her better.
She crawled up beside me, nuzzling in close. I kissed the top of her head, then her lips. The kiss became deeper as she moved over until she was startling me. I began to pull at her clothing, but she stopped me.
I pulled my hands behind my head and chuckled. “I thought I was suppose to be resting…?” She smiled coyly, swaying her hips back and forth on top of me.
“Mmm… was, but you seemed to have woken up too much now.” I laughed and tried to remove her shirt once again, unsuccessfully.
She swatted my hand away for the third time and leaned down to my ear, “You rest then babe…” she whispered.
She undid my zipper and pulled my jeans and boxers free, sliding back up until she was level with my thighs. She gave me a mischievous grin before she leaned down and took me into her mouth.
I propped myself up on my elbows and watched her for a few minutes before I flopped back down with an audible moan. I put my hands over my face and grinned as she began to quicken her pace.
I still didn’t know enough about Alyssa to be able to tell what her deal was. Whether she was just that into having a hockey player for a boyfriend that she was willing to do whatever it took to keep me happy; or if she was just a very manipulative, talented whore.
Whatever the reason, as I grabbed the hair on the back of her head and felt myself climax, I didn’t really care.

***Sorry, my Blogger is going crazy tonight... if this turns out to be all italics, just ignore that lol. And you're gonna have to use your imagination for the 'thoughts'... I'll fix this if I can; my lap top is just all kinds of fail tonight =(***
To my surprise - and slight disappointment - I woke up alone. The house was silent and I tip-toed out of my room and down the hall; looking for Sharpe, hoping he would know what happened after I fell asleep last night.
I found him, stretched out across the spare-bed; blankets twisted around his legs. I walked over to where he was and started laughing silently to myself; this could be fun…
I crept quietly back down the hall to the kitchen, reaching up into one of the top cupboards for the small bag of flour Laurie had bought to make cup-cakes with. I grabbed a handful, turning to head back down the hall when something yellow caught my eye. I walked over to the island and found a post-it note:
Hey boys,
Went to get breakfast for everyone, we’ll be back soon!
<3 Alyssa and Leigh
I smiled at the note, breakfast does sound pretty sweet… I put it back down on the island and continued down the hall.
“Hey Sharpe…” I whispered, crouched over his sleeping-form. “WAKE UP!” I waited until he rolled over onto his back before slamming the flour onto his face, as hard as I could. I dashed out of the spare-room, seeing Sharpe stiffen before I flew around the corner. I was back out into the living room, just as the girls were coming back in. Alyssa gave me a grin, before her face fell into confusion as she took in my appearance; running down the hall in boxers with flour all over my hands.
To make matters worse Sharpe caught up with me. Not bothering to see why I had stopped running; he flew into me, wrapping his arms around my chest as he tackled me to the floor.
I pushed him off of me and we both fell back laughing. Leigh and Alyssa exchanged looks before turning their attention back to us.
“Alright, now the secrets out… I’m in love with Kaner, and flour is my fetish!” Sharpe declared as he pushed himself off the ground. Realizing that we were just being idiots both girls smiled and headed into my kitchen.
After eating my fill of pancakes, eggs and bacon; I lied back on the couch, watching Sports Center. Sharpe announced that he and Leigh were leaving, “I’ll pick you up in a couple hours for the skate… big game tonight buddy!” He quipped before following Leigh out the door.
Alone for the first time since rolling around in my bed, I glanced over at Alyssa. Her eyes were directed towards the TV, but I could tell she was off in her own world. Well shit, this is awkward… I had no idea what to do. Normally I went over to the girls’ house, giving myself the ability to leave before they woke up.
“Well… I should probably go if you have a game tonight.” Alyssa said finally, moving to leave.
What do I say? …“You need a drive or something?”
“No… I don’t actually live too far from here, I can walk.” She gave me a smile and left out the door. I continued to lie on the couch for a few second before figuring, why not, and jogging out the door after her.
“Hey Alyssa!” I yelled from the railing, watching her descend the stairs below me. She stopped walking and looked up. “You ah… wanna come to my game tonight?”
“Oh! Umm… yah sure… what time?” She seemed genuinely surprised by my invitation.
“Doors open at 6:30 or something, I’ll leave you some tickets at the gate under my name. Four good?”
“Yah, that’s great. I’ll see you tonight Patrick.” She gave me another grin before continuing her trek outside.
I turned around and headed back into my apartment;what the hell was that about? I thought as I shut the door behind me.
We were playing Carolina, and loosing 2-1 in the last period. The team wasn’t playing so good; Dave and Burish were both out with minor injuries and we were playing without much spirit. Our only goal was the one I had nabbed for us in the second, and although I didn’t have any more luck, I had had a lot of good chances.
I hadn’t thought much about Alyssa since the game started, but Sharpe had gotten into a fight and now with the ref trying to sort the penalties out; I took a little skate down towards our end of the ice.
Alyssa was there, sporting a ’Kane’ jersey; which made me smile a bit. She gave me a small wave as I skated by, and I nodded back, raising my stick. This minor movement caused the three girls around her to burst into excited whispers; this made me smile even more.
I heard the ref blow his whistle and shook my head, before skating back to take the face off.
Normally after any game, win or lose, the boys hound me to go out with them. Whether their new change in attitude had to do with the missing Dave and Burish or the fact that there was a girl waiting for me in the family-lounge, it didn’t matter. For whatever reason the boys decided the best place for me to be was home tonight; and the best thing for them to do was leave me alone. Tazer however, had other ideas.
“Hey Kaner.” He said coming up behind me.
“What’s up man?”
“You just heading home tonight?”
“Yah I guess so, you?”
“Yah… Sam’s here.” He smiled, grabbing my arm and stopping me before we reached the lounge. “So…?”
“It’s just sex…” I could already tell from his goofy grin what he was thinking.
“You always say it’s just sex.” He quipped.
I laughed at him, “yah, cause it always is just sex.” He shook his head and started walking again, grinning when he caught sight of Alyssa waiting by herself.
“She going home with you tonight?”
“Yah… guess she is.” I smiled as I approached her; it was kind of nice to have someone waiting in the family room.
“You were so good tonight!” She squealed as soon as I was within arm range. She pushed herself up against me, pulling me into a hug and smiling up at me.
“In case you didn’t notice, we lost…”
“Yah! But YOU were amazing.”
“Hmm… I am pretty amazing aren’t I?” I laughed down at her as she nodded again. She finally released me and I looked around the room, almost everyone was watching us. Serves me right for never inviting a girl to a game before, I guess. I sighed, starting to feel awkward. “You wanna get out of here?” She nodded and allowed me to lead her out of the room.
When I opened my apartment door the first thing I noticed was the flashing light on my phone; indicating a voice mail. I hit play as Alyssa flopped down on the couch.
“Hey Kaner, it’s me…” Laurie’s voice filled the room. “So… I’ve decided to stay here a few more nights… do you mind just adopting Giggs for a bit? He’s probably lonely! Anyway, I’ll see you when I get back. Thanks alot.”
I looked over at Alyssa. “You mind if I go grab Giggs?” She shook her head and I headed towards the door, grabbing Laurie’s key off the key hook.
Giggs was freaking out by the door when I opened it. I went around grabbing his food bag and dish before leading the chocolate lab over to my apartment.
Alyssa was squished up beside me in bed; I wasn’t sure if it was because Giggs was taking up the majority of the mattress, or if it was by choice. She seemed to want to be as close to me as possible, at all times.
Gigga and Alyssa, both fell asleep before I did. I had a hard time unwinding in the darkness; a million things were running through my head. Alyssa wasn’t a friend. She wasn’t someone I would run to with a problem, or someone that I would call to hang out with, but she also wasn’t a one night stand; the fact that she was here now proved that.
Considering I had taken her home with me tonight, with no intentions of sleeping with her at all, was freaking me out more than anything. What was wrong with me?
Was I loosing my edge? Was I becoming needy? Something just seemed so wrong about being 20 year-old hockey star, with a girl in my bed - still fully clothed in her Pjs.
She was wearing Pjs… she took Pjs to my house knowing she was staying the night. Looking around my room now I could see some of her stuff spread out over my dresser, side table and floor. There was something else missing too…
Oh, none of the boys have called yet… I looked over at the clock; 1:23AM. Well, if hey haven’t called yet then I guess they’re not gonna call.
Something had to be going on this didn’t make any sense. Why was I lying here thinking about these things and why the hell was no one trying to make me go out to the clubs with them, what was wrong with the boys tonigh- holy shit.
I felt the blood run from my face. If I hadn’t of been lying down I might have collapsed. There wasn’t anything wrong with the boys… there was something wrong with me. I involuntarily threw my hands over my mouth in shock and disgust.
… I was in a relationship

#4
I woke up to the sound of my phone vibrating beside my head. Ugh, what time is it? “Kaner! KANER!!!! You awake man?”
“No… I’m still asleep… I’m just dreaming about being on the phone with you.” I yawned sarcastically as Burish sat in stunned silence.
“…what? So… you’re not… awake?”
I let out a loud sigh rolling off my stomach onto my back. “Yes Burish, I’m awake. What do you want?” It was at this point I realized that I was alone; looks like Laurie made an early get-away.
“Just wondering how the rest of your night went? I didn’t see, but Sharpe said you left with three chicks… three!”
“My neighbour and her friends man… they left in a cab and Laurie and I came back here.” I smiled to myself, remembering the pleasant turn of events from the night before.
“Oh… you fuck her?”
“No.” I wasn’t sure why I was lying. There was just something about the way Burish said it that made it sound dirty, and being with Laurie didn’t feel dirty.
“That sucks dude.” We sat in silence for a while longer, as I stretched out my muscles and began the adventure of waking up. “So… that chick from the pub gave me her number to give to you. Want it?”
“No, think I’m good.”
“Suite yourself.”
We said goodbye, made plans to go out again tonight; same pub. I lied in bed a while longer, trying to find a reason to get up. No game, no skate, no practice; it was on of those rare days where you don’t feel like a pro hockey player, but a lazy unemployed bum. Meh.
I grabbed my phone off the bed again, this time scanning the contacts until I found her.
Where’d you take off to?
I’m going to visit my sister for the weekend, remember? I thought about it for a minute, this didn’t sound familiar.
No… I texted back, hoping my denial would chance her mind… I really didn’t want to be alone all weekend.
I told you like 6 times, you need to feed Giggs for me! Oh! Okay, maybe Laurie had mentioned this at some point.
Oh yah. When you back? “No wammies…” I sighed as I waited for her response.
Sunday night. See you later.
Well shit. What to do now. I finally decided to get out of bed, not bother to get dressed, it’s not like anyone was going to see me anyway. I headed out towards the kitchen to find some food, enjoying the heat being generated by the sunlight pouring through the windows.
“Dude, why are you naked?”
“Dude! Why are you in my house? How the fuck did you get in?”
Sharpe turned back around, shaking his head and he finished his bowl of cereal. I sighed and spun around, heading back into my room to find some sweats. Once they were in place I headed back out to the living room. “So?”
“So what?” He asked through a mouthful or Captain Crunch.
“So how the fuck did you get in my house?”
“Oh… Laurie let me in. I got here as she was leaving. Man… she’s hot.”
I ignored the last remark. “She say anything?”
“Not really.”
“Not really…?”
He shrugged, continuing to eat his cereal; or my cereal rather. I shrugged my shoulders at nothing in particular before grabbing a bowl of cereal and joining Sharpe on the couch.
We finished eating and watched some Saturday cartoons; laughing about all the dumb things I had apparently missed last night.
“You should have been there!” He concluded, trying to catch his breath from laughing.
“I don’t know man… I had a pretty good night.” I smiled, remember the feel of Laurie’s skin against mine; the way she arched her back closer to me every time I moved deeper inside her…
“Ugh! You’re doing it again.” Sharpe retorted with disgust.
“Doing what?”
“That thing you always do when you’re think about Laurie. Getting all ga-ga-kissy-kissy.”
I stared at him for a minute trying to figure out if he was serious. “Umm.. I’m not sure what that means, but it’s not like that. She’s sex, that’s it.”
“So if it’s just sex… you won’t mind if I hit it?”
“Laurie wouldn’t sleep with you! Besides, I don’t want you fucking up a good thing I got going on.”
He cocked his head to the side thinking about this, nodding after a minute. “Alright, well, Laurie’s gone for the weekend so… if it’s just sex you can come out with us to the pub… we’ll find some babes for you to take home tonight!”
“Already told Burish that was the plan.” He grinned before punching me on the shoulder.
The pub was even more crowded than last night; with the men out-numbered five to one. I was surrounded by beautiful women everywhere I turned, and that was without Burish and Sharpe throwing girls in my direction.
We were all standing around one of the round tables, glasses pilled up in the middle. “Hey Kaner! We’re playing quarters… you in?”
I nodded at Soupy, feeling around in my pocket for some change. “I only got 2 dimes man…” He shrugged and continued flipping his quarters around the table.
“Guess who!?” Two tiny, manicured hands closed over my eyes. I had no idea what was going on; but before I had time to guess Alyssa was removing her hands, opting to lock them around my waist instead. “Your neighbour get home alright?” She asked sweetly, batting her lashes at me.
“Yah she did, thanks for asking.” She shrugged, glancing around the bar. There were other women still milling around us and Alyssa saw this. She kept her arms around me, glaring at any other girl that got too close. I was trying to think of how to loose her this time, when Sharpe came up behind us, his arm around some blonde’s shoulder. Always a blonde. I laughed to myself.
“Man, I told this girl we were gonna go watch some movies at your place alright? Let’s go.” He lead the girl he was with towards the door. I turned to say goodbye to Alyssa but she had other plans. She released my waist, taking my hand in hers and following Sharpe out the door.
Gotta respect a woman who knows what she wants. I shrugged as I quickened my pace to fall in beside her.
When we got outside Sharpe and blondie were already waiting in the back of a cab. Alyssa hopped in the back as I pulled open the front passenger door and climbed in.
We spent the 15 minute drive laughing. Normally when I bring a girl home we just get right down to business and leave it at that. Apparently the girl Sharpe had with him was not that type of girl. The conversation filled the time easily and as we climbed the stairs to my apartment I felt better about Sharpe throwing these plans on me.
We watched The Hangover, and I was presently surprised when Alyssa laughed along with Sharpe and I at the random parts.
When the movie ended Sharpe and his lady friend, Leigh, headed to the spare bed-room for the night. Over the course of the past hour my arm head ended up around Alyssa, her head nestled against my shoulder.
I was playing with her hair, she was rubbing my knee with her hand. “Tired?” I asked her, resting my chin on the top of her head.
“Hmm, a little, I think I’ll stay up for a bit more though…” She turned around on the couch to face me, bringing her lips down to mine. I brought one hand up to her jaw, the other pressed up against the small of her back, pulling her into me. She moved up to straddle me, as the kiss grew more intense.
I had both hands on the back of her neck when she started to feel her way down to my belt. I pulled my face away from the kiss to look over my shoulder. Hmm… this might be dangerous with Sharpe here…I turned back around to her and moved my hands down to her ass.
In one fluid motion I stood up, holding her against me with my arms; until she wrapped her legs around me. She bit her lip and giggled at me as I walked her towards my room.
She disregarded her halter top as we made it through the door. I threw her down on the bed and crawled on top, allowing my hands to explore her exposed breasts. She let out a moan and nuzzled her face into the top of my head while I brought one of her nipples into my mouth.
She rolled on top of me and we took turns wrestling each other out of our clothes.
I love the first time with someone. the excitement of a new body; the rush of anticipation before it begins; the satisfaction of accomplishment when it’s over. I pushed myself more than usual as Alyssa moaned my name below me; forcing myself to last longer than I ever had. There was something about the way she watched me and said my name that made me wish I could last all night.
She wanted to please me. In her every sigh, twist and touch; she was doing everything she could to make me happy. It was working.
In the back of my mind something seemed off. She hardly knew me but she was turned on by turning me on, and that made it hotter.
She fell asleep almost instantly, still clinging to me in sleep. I relaxed as my breathing returned to normal.
It was a strange time, but I thought about Laurie. About how different she was from the girl that was beside me now. They were polar opposites so to speak. The sex with great with both of them; I loved the feel of Laurie and the idea of Alyssa. I wonder what it would be like if Laurie was like this…
I chuckled, knowing that would never happen. I drifted in and out of sleep, looking at the clock around 5am. Alyssa was still beside me.
I sighed down at the tiny red-headed girl that was still lying naked under the covers. I reached over and ran my hand down her back; beginning to plant kisses down her spine. She awoke with another moan, rolling onto her back to face me.
She greeted me with open-arms as we started again. It wasn’t as natural and comfortable as it was with Laurie, but I could sure get use to it.
